Company Introduction
Towngas Chibo Data Service (Jinan) Co., Ltd. (TGT Chibo) was established with the mission to enable ICT professionals and their business with reliable cloud infrastructure and competent services that exceed customer expectations. Excelling as one of the major carrier neutral world class data centre hall service providers in Shandong province, the company was founded by Towngas Telecommunications Co., Ltd. (TGT), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hong Kong and China Gas Co., Ltd. (Towngas). TGT Jinan Data Centre 1 is the first data centre in the mainland of the TGT group.
With a total floor area of 51,028 m2 and a total construction area of 65,000 m2 of Phrase 1, the data centre hall is in accordance with the international standard of TIA-942 Rated 3+, the Japanese Financial Industry Information System Standard by FISC and the Chinese standard of GB50174-2017 A level.
Founded in 2009, TGT Chibo possesses professional operation and maintenance service teams with invaluable experiences. The premium data centre infrastructure, mature service system and management procedures are warranted with ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 for the excellence and professionalism in service availability, reliability and stability.
Corporate Background
As a wholly owned subsidiary of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, Towngas Telecommunications Company Limited (TGT) is one of the Hong Kong’s premier fixed telecommunications network operators. Riding on the advantage of the advanced Gas-In-Glass (GIG) and Gas-Along-Gas (GAG) techniques, TGT, as a carrier-neutral telecommunications service provider, has been able to provide excellent telecommunication infrastructure and connectivity solutions, which offer substantial synergies and economies of scale for telecom carriers, service providers and large corporations.
Providing reliable services including connectivity, data centre and cloud computing, TGT has expanded its business to the mainland in 2007 and now has established 18 joint venture companies in Hong Kong and the mainland in total. To seize the business opportunities under the big data era, we have established 7 large scale networked data centre halls in Hong Kong, Jinan, Shandong Province, Dalian, Liaoning Province, Dongguan, Guangdong Province and Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, which accommodate up to 30,000 server racks in accordance with the international standard of TIA-942 Rated 3+. TGT data centres have also obtained several international standard certifications, such as CSA Star, ISO14001, ISO20000-1, ISO27001 and ISO9001. By implementing comprehensive environmental and sustainable initiatives and introducing energy-saving materials and equipment, TGT was awarded with the LEED Gold Certification by U.S. Green Building Council, allowing us to become the role model for data centres in the region. In order to meet the ever-growing market demand, we will continue to strengthen the development of our data centres and telecommunications projects.
